Peer Review Process

Strategic Management Business Journal has a reasonably fast turnaround time from submission to the first decision, which averages less than one month. Strategic Management Business Journal is committed to creating the articles' integrity by upholding the review standard.

The Editor and his Associates initially review all submissions to the journal. At this stage, manuscripts may be rejected without peer review if they are not of high enough priority or not relevant to the journal. This fast rejection process means that authors are given a quick decision and do not need to wait for the review process.

Manuscripts that are not instantly rejected are sent out for peer review, usually to two independent reviewers. Based on the feedback from these reviewers and the Editors' judgment, a decision is given on the manuscript.

Every article submitted will be conducted a “double-blind review” where the reviewed does not know who the author, and the author does not know who the reviewed. To make this possible, the author needs to submit two versions of the manuscripts. The first “complete” manuscripts were a preliminary review and a second “blind” version where the author's name, address, and identifying reference were removed. Once your manuscript has been assessed for suitability by an editor, it will be reviewed on a “double-blind peer-reviewed” basis by anonymous and independent peer-reviewed experts.
